During first year of the project (2007 - 2008) the team undertook a variety of activities related to Web3D development. Colleagues from across the university were engaged in condeptualising a variety of Web3D exemplars proposed to support learning and teaching in different disciplines. In addition to descriptions of the proposed exemplars there is information about development of some exemplars with video of prototypes.

Three examples were developed as free-standing applications which can be downloaded .

Among the resources developed were summary reviews of available Web3D tools:
